BLENDER CHOCOLATE CINNAMON CAKE

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft shortening
1/2 c. hot water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease an 8" square pan.
Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
Put remaining ingredients into blender, cover, and process at mix until smooth.
Add to flour mixture. Stir until just smooth.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
This is excellent warm and does not need icing.
