Banana Fritters

1 cup garbanzo flour
2 tbs chopped fresh silantro
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp ground tumeric
1/2 cup water
3 large firm bananas, peeled, cut into 2 inch squares

1. Sift flour into medium bowl. Stir in cilantro,
salt, cayenne and tumeric. Stir in water util
smooth.
2. Heat oil (2 or 3 inches deep) in wok or dutch
oven over medium-high heat until thermometer
inserted in oil reads 350F.
3. Dip banana pieces in batter to coat. Carfully
drop 4 to 5 battered banana pieces into hot oil
and fry 3 to 5 minutes, turning occasionally,
until golden brown. Remove with slotted spoon;
drain on paper towels.
