Beets and Pineapple

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup pineapple tidbits
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (16 ounce) can beets, sliced and drained

Combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt in pan.
Stir in the pineapple with syrup.
Cook, stirring constantly until it bubbles.
Add butter, lemon juice and beets.
Cook for about 5 minutes.

Serves 4.
