1 Centre or Center   built-in function

This function returns text that is centered for a specific length.

result = Centre( string, length [, pad ] ) Or,   result = Center( string, length [, pad ] )

string

text to center

length

the length of the result. The length must be 0 or a positive whole number.

pad

an optional padding character. The default pad character is a space.

Examples: say Centre( 'magic', 3 ) -- shows 'agi' say Centre( 'magic', 2 ) -- shows 'ag say Center( 'magic', 7 ) -- shows ' magic ' say Center( 'magic', 7, ' ' ) -- shows ' magic ' say Center( 'magic', 7, '+' ) -- shows '+magic+'
